• Ensure you are using the right kind of battery (CR2032).
• Please refer to the instruction sheet for details.
What does a red light on my Pokémon GO Plus mean?
A red light on the Pokémon GO Plus device can mean a number of things depending on what you are doing:
1. When Pokémon GO Plus flashes red and vibrates several times, this indicates that the connection with your smartphone has been lost. This can often happen if you are too far away from your smartphone.
To reconnect, go into the app and locate the darkened Pokémon GO Plus icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Tap this icon and then press the button on your Pokémon GO Plus, the device will re-connect to your game.
2. A single flashing red light and vibration could indicate that your Pokémon GO Plus is still connected to your smartphone, but your phone has lost network connectivity (so you won't be able to locate Poké Stops or wild Pokémon.) Moving your phone to a location with better network connectivity will correct this issue.
3. Pokémon GO Plus will also flash red if it fails to capture a Pokémon, or if some other problem exists (such as no available Poké Balls to throw, you bag is full, etc.)
My Pokémon GO Plus won't pair with my smartphone.
1. Check with your phone manufacturer and ensure that smartphone supports Bluetooth LE, and that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
2. Restart your phone, and then re-launch the Pokémon GO app.
3. Go to the settings menu, and tap Pokémon GO Plus.
4. If your Pokémon GO Plus device shows up here, tap the triangle icon to the right of the device to remove it.
5. Press the button on your Pokémon GO Plus, it should flash blue, and your Pokémon GO Plus device should appear on your screen.
6. Tap the Pokémon GO Plus device listed on your screen, the device should pair, and you should see a message: "Successfully connected to Pokémon GO Plus".
7. If the device does not connect or is never listed on the screen, try moving to another location and repeat steps 1-6. If the device still will not connect, there may be a compatibility issue with the smartphone. Test for this by trying the device on another smartphone.
