How to update Pokémon GO child permissions on your child’s Pokémon Trainer Club account

This article will teach you how to update permissions on a child’s Pokémon Trainer Club account.

These permissions include:

• The Friend List and its related features
• Sponsored in-game content in Pokémon GO
• Other permissions

These permissions can be changed at any time by logging in to the parent Pokémon Trainer Club account. Currently, your Pokémon Trainer Club account will allow you to enable the Friend List feature and access to sponsored content.

To enable these features or update permissions for your child, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Pokémon Trainer Club account at Pokemon.com.
2. Select your child’s name from the menu on the left.
3. Select Pokémon GO Settings.
4. From this page, select which features your child will have access to.
5. Select Submit.

Please note the following:

• Some features are only available by first selecting others.
• If you do not see certain permissions, it means that your child is old enough to choose settings and permissions on their own Pokémon Trainer Club account.
