How do I buy gems?
You can buy Gems at the Gem Counter. Payment methods vary depending on the device/operating system you are using to play the game.
iOS users can pay using the App Store. You can use any acceptable method of payment with the App Store such as credit card or iTunes gift cards.
Android users pay through the Google Play store. You can use any acceptable method of payment with the Google Play store such as credit card or Google Play gift cards.
Amazon Fire owners can pay using their standard method of payment (debit, credit, or gift cards) through the Amazon app store.
Please direct any payment-related questions to your device manufacturer.
Can I return Gems I've purchased?
As displayed on screen when Gems are purchased, we cannot process a return.
I haven't received Gems I purchased
If your Gems are not showing on your account, please allow our system to populate the purchase. If, after two hours they are still not on your account, please try the following:
- Restart Pokémon Duel.
- Restart your device.
- Start the app, select the shop from the home screen and then try accessing the Gem Counter.
If the above steps do not resolve your issue and you still do not have the Gems in your account, there could be a payment error through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Please confirm your method of payment information and status with Apple or Google.
Do Gems expire?
No expiration date has been set for Gems, but please be sure to check the User Agreement and Terms of Service for details.
Gems missing after device transfer
If you migrate your data to a different operating system, you will not be able to transfer your gems to your new device. This message is displayed on the screen before you enter your transfer ID and password. If you have lost gems during your transfer, we are unable to add them back to your account. This includes migrating from an Apple device to an Android device or Amazon Fire device, an Android Device to an Apple Device and Amazon Fire device or an Amazon Fire device to a standard Android device or Apple device.

What are the maximum amounts of Energy, Coins, and Gems I can have on my account?
You begin the game with 50 energy and earn more as you clear hotels. You can have a maximum of 9,999,999 Coins and 999,999 Gems.
