The app won't start
Make sure your device meets the system requirements, which can be found in “Pokémon Smile system requirements and compatibility.”
Make sure there is enough available space on your device. It is also helpful to have as few applications running in the background as you can.
Make sure you are playing with a stable, strong internet connection.
Try restarting your device. If you play for long continuous periods or have other applications running in the background, performance of the application may degrade.
Please note:
- Compatibility is not guaranteed for all devices that meet iOS or Android requirements.
- Functionality on all devices, including tablets, is not guaranteed.
I'm unable to download the app
You may not be able to download the application with an LTE or 3G connection due to your device settings. We recommend using Wi-Fi when downloading the application.
You may be unable to download Pokémon Smile on an incompatible device.
The app suddenly quits
Make sure you are playing with a stable, strong internet connection.
If you have multiple applications running in the background, close them all and relaunch the app. If there is still no improvement, try restarting your device.
The screen froze—I can't do anything
Try relaunching the app. If there is still no improvement, try restarting your device.
