About Pokémon Shuffle Mobile In-Game Purchases (Jewels)
Purchasing Jewels
Tap the shopping bag icon at the bottom of Pokémon Shuffle Mobile game screen, and then select Jewel Shop to purchase Jewels.
When entering the Jewel Shop, you will see a screen titled Proceed to Jewel Shop that displays a purchase point balance which is reset to 5,000 points at the beginning of each month.
When you purchase Jewels, your point balance is reduced by a certain amount. You can tap Display points to see the exact amount. For example, after purchasing one Jewel, you will have a point balance of 4,988. When this point balance reaches zero, you will need to wait until the beginning of the next month to purchase Jewels.
Exchanging Jewels for Items
Tap the shopping bag icon at the bottom of the Pokémon Shuffle Mobile game screen, and then select Shop. In this screen, you can exchange your Jewels for Hearts and Coins.
Note: Age verification is needed to purchase Jewels. Younger users may be unable to purchase Jewels.
Troubleshooting Problems with Purchasing Jewels
The Jewels I purchased haven’t been added to the game.
It may take some time before the game data is updated. Please try the following.
- Quit and then restart the Pokémon Shuffle Mobile app.
- If you do not see the Jewels after restarting the app, try restarting your phone.
- Ensure you have a stable, high-speed internet connection.
- It can take up to 30 minutes for Jewels to appear in some cases.
An error occurred during a purchase, and I don’t know if the purchase was successful.
If you don’t see the Jewels you purchased, try the steps above to restart the app and/or device and then wait for the Jewels to appear. If they do not appear, refer to the App Store or Google Play purchase record, as there is no way to check your purchase records from within the app.
I bought Jewels accidentally. Can I return them?
It is not possible to return Jewels after they have been purchased.
Can I recover my game progress if I uninstall or delete the game?
If you delete the game without performing a transfer, you will not be able to recover your save data. Please note: The game is not completely stored on our game server. There is no way to recover a deleted game if you have not first generated a Transfer Password.
How do I generate a Transfer Password for Pokémon Shuffle Mobile?
- From the Options menu, tap Data Transfer.
- Tap Issue a Transfer Password.
The following message will display: “Read the transfer notes and issue a Transfer Password? Be aware that you cannot transfer Jewels to a device with a different operating system than the device you’re transferring from.” - Tap Yes.
- Your Transfer Password and Client ID will display.
- Important: Make a note or take a screenshot of your Transfer Password and Client ID.
- From the destination device, launch Pokémon Shuffle Mobile.
- You will be prompted to enter your Transfer Password.

Pokémon Shuffle Mobile Will Not Start or Closes Abruptly
Issues or pauses in the game may be due to your network connection becoming slow or unstable. You can check this by changing your phone’s connection method—for example, use a different Wi-Fi access point, try playing in different locations, or try playing at different times of day.
Pokémon Shuffle Mobile requires some storage space to save its progress. If your device has little or no storage space free, clear out some additional storage space before attempting to play.
Many issues may be caused by low memory. You can free up memory by powering off your device completely and then powering the device back on. Then run the game without any other apps open.
Can I change the in-game language?
Pokémon Shuffle Mobile will match the language that your device is currently set to—as long as it is set to a language that Pokémon Shuffle Mobile supports.
Pokémon Shuffle Mobile currently supports the following languages.
- English
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Spanish
If your device is set to a language other than those listed, Pokémon Shuffle Mobile will default to English.
You cannot change the language of the game using the game’s menus. The game will always attempt to match your device’s language setting.
Do gifts expire in Pokémon Shuffle Mobile?
Yes. Gifts must be collected before the expiration date shown beside the gift’s description.
I’ve received an “Invalid Nickname” error.
If you attempt to create a nickname and the game does not allow it, one of the following reasons are likely the cause.
- The language filter has determined that all or a part of the name is on a list of words the game server has rejected.
- The name is longer than 10 characters.
I’ve received “Communication Error 10000960.”
This error indicates that the game server does not recognize the game installation on your device and the game can no longer be played. This can happen if you restore (or your cloud backup automatically restores) Pokémon Shuffle Mobile game data files from a backup over your existing game.
There is no way to recover from this error. You must remove the app, reinstall it, and start the game again from the beginning.
