Pikachu Talk is an app/skill for the Amazon Echo or Google Home assistants.
From the Pokemon.com website: Fans can converse “live” with Pikachu as the iconic Pokémon makes its debut on Amazon Alexa and Google Home with Pikachu Talk. Fans can pose a question or request to Pikachu, and the much-loved Electric-type Mouse Pokémon will respond with classic lines like “pika?”, “pika pika!”, and “pikaaaaa.” Already released in Japan, Pikachu Talk is now available for Amazon Alexa-enabled devices in most countries, and for Google Home-enabled devices in the US.
How to use:
To talk with Pikachu, just tell your assistant to begin the conversation. For example:
- "Alexa, open Pikachu Talk."
- "OK Google, open Pikachu Talk."
Note: for Amazon Echo devices, you will want to first enable the skill. To do this, go to www.amazon.com and sign into the account associated with your Echo device, type Pikachu Talk, locate the skill, and click the Enable button.
Alternately, from the Alexa smartphone app, tap Skills, locate the Pikachu Talk skill, and then tap the Enable button.
