To better support our broadcast community and foster its growth, we invite all trainers to co-stream our Pokémon Presents and Play! Pokémon content to their own audiences.
For those in our community interested in co-streaming, we kindly request that you adhere to the guidelines outlined below. This will ensure that the broadcast's integrity and purpose are maintained, and your content is safeguarded from any potential platform-related considerations, which could result in the removal or restricted use of your created content.
- You may monetize your videos and channels using the monetization methods officially offered by the platforms. Other forms of monetization of our intellectual property for commercial purposes are not permitted, such as distributing and/or selling only elements (e.g. illustrations, music, and a part of the video) of “Pokémon Presents” or of "Play! Pokémon" to the third parties, and creating the derivative works related to Pokémon (including, but not limited to, games, apps, illustrations, music, and videos) for commercial purposes.
- Co-streaming is defined as airing another broadcast on your channel while providing live commentary and/or video. Re-uploading or re-streaming a broadcast with no additional commentary is not permitted. Only content from official broadcast channels (listed below) is permitted for co-streaming.
- Certain products and announcements featured in Pokémon Presents may include music or footage that may be flagged or muted as part of VODs saved from co-streams. For fans co-streaming Pokémon Presents, we recommend against saving or publishing co-streams of this content to avoid this potential issue.
- We welcome Trainers who produce content in any language to co-stream.
- If your content uses a third party’s intellectual property not belonging to Pokémon, or includes the personal information of others, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions to post such content.
- If you choose to include a guest in your co-stream or content, that guest must also always follow these guidelines.
- All co-streaming of official Pokémon Presents and Play! Pokémon broadcasts must comply with our Terms of Use, Standards of Conduct, our Inclusivity Policy, and respective streaming platform policies. Do not misrepresent:
- Yourself or other individuals.
- Our products, including (but not limited to): gameplay or graphics, the in-game inventory or game statistics, other players, or other in-game features, mechanics or events.
- You are not permitted to imply or state that your videos are officially affiliated with or sponsored by Pokémon.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe is unlawful, infringing, inappropriate, or not in line with these guidelines.
- Co-streamers of official Pokémon Presents and Play! Pokémon broadcasts are permitted to have sponsors, unless those sponsors fall into the following categories:
- Any product or service that is inconsistent with Pokémon’s family-friendly values
- Sexual content or online dating service
- Alcohol, tobacco, drugs or medical equipment
- Weapons or explosives
- Gambling, wagering or lottery (including "fantasy sports" sites that operate virtual professional sports)
- Political ads or otherwise promoting a political agenda
- Crypto-currency, NFTs, or related services
- Sellers of or marketplaces for virtual items known to be counterfeit or illegal
- Seller of or marketplaces for goods or services that violate Pokémon’s Terms of Service
- Some products or services featured in our official broadcasts may not be available in all markets.
These guidelines are subject to change without notice, and Pokémon is not responsible for any damage caused by changes to the guidelines.
