What is the Community Ambassador Program?
The Community Ambassador Program (the “Program”) brings together leaders and voices from the Pokémon community. The Program is designed to help us, through the Community Ambassadors, better connect with fans, gather valuable product feedback, and help the community grow and thrive!
What does it mean to be a Community Ambassador?
Each participant designated as a Community Ambassador plays a role in raising issues to our attention, sharing fan perspectives, and helping the community connect more closely with one another and with Pokémon. By partnering with Community Ambassadors, our primary goal is to strengthen and benefit the community as a whole. Being a Community Ambassador is an exciting opportunity, but it is not an endorsement by Pokémon, and a Community Ambassador can be removed from the program at any time at the sole discretion of Pokémon.
How does someone become a Community Ambassador?
There is no application process at this time. Community Ambassadors are hand-selected through a vetting process, which includes research to ensure alignment with the Pokémon brand and the Program. Community Ambassadors come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and we strive to include voices that reflect the diversity of our community.
What does Pokémon look for in a Community Ambassador?
We look for community members who actively represent segments of our fanbase—for example, leaders of Pokémon fan communities, strong and trusted voices in the community, or those who are consistently active and visible within the Pokémon fandom.
What are the benefits of joining the Program?
