How can I pair or unpair my Pokémon GO Plus + with Pokémon Sleep?

Where should I place my Pokémon GO Plus + when I track my sleep?

You can track your sleep by placing your Pokémon GO Plus + device on your mattress. To prevent Pokémon GO Plus + from falling off your mattress, please attach the included strap to it and use the clip to secure the device to your pillow.

Depending on the bedding you use and where you place your Pokémon GO Plus +, your movement may not be detected properly. In such cases, placing your Pokémon GO Plus + closer to your body may improve detection.

Will my sleep data be shared with Pokémon GO?

Yes, you can send your sleep data to Pokémon GO to enhance your play. Please see here for more details.

If I pair my Pokémon GO Plus + with Pokémon Sleep, what kind of information will be uploaded to the Pokémon Sleep servers?

Your bedtime, wake-up time, and time in each sleep stage will be uploaded when you pair Pokémon GO Plus + with the Pokémon Sleep app.

Can I pair Pokémon GO Plus + with another sleep app?

No, you can’t pair Pokémon GO Plus + with any sleep app other than Pokémon Sleep.

Can I use Pokémon GO Plus + if I have a medical device such as a pacemaker?

Pokémon GO Plus + (including the strap and clip) has a magnet that emits electromagnetic fields as well as a wireless transmitter and may interfere with pacemakers and defibrillators. Please do not use this product if you use such a medical device.

How do I check if Pokémon GO Plus + is paired with Pokémon Sleep?

When Pokémon GO Plus + is correctly paired with Pokémon Sleep, the icon in the lower-right corner of the home screen of Pokémon Sleep will show “GO Plus +.”

How can I see the Pikachu wearing the Pokémon GO Plus + bonus hat?

If you pair Pokémon GO Plus + with Pokémon Sleep, the Pikachu with the hat will appear near the tent on the left side of the home screen. You can also see the Pikachu by tapping the GO Plus + icon in the lower-right corner of the home screen.

The Pikachu with the hat isn’t growing friendlier toward me.

The special Pikachu will only get friendlier toward you if you track your sleep using your Pokémon GO Plus + device.

How can I get more Pikachu cries for my Pokémon GO Plus +?

New Pikachu cries will be unlocked automatically as you keep tracking your sleep using Pokémon GO Plus + and build your friendship with Pikachu.

Pikachu’s cries were unlocked from the beginning. Is this a bug?

If your Pokémon GO Plus + was connected to Pokémon Sleep on a different smart device in the past, then the unlocked cries will be carried over.

My total sleep time is longer than the time I’ve used my Pokémon GO Plus +. Is this an error?

If your Pokémon GO Plus + has been connected to a smart device in the past, your sleep time total will include all time tracked using that prior connection.

How many sleep sessions tracked by Pokémon GO Plus + can I report at once?

You can report up to eight sessions’ worth of sleep data at once. However, data 14 days old or older cannot be reported to Pokémon Sleep.

What is the “Auto-Sync with Pokémon GO Plus +” feature in Pokémon Sleep?

This is a feature that allows your Pokémon GO Plus + device to automatically connect to Pokémon Sleep if the device is nearby when you start the app. If “Auto-Sync with Pokémon GO Plus +” is disabled, your Pokémon GO Plus + won’t be detected automatically.

Why did my Pokémon GO Plus + disconnect from my smart device?

Please see here for more details about how to reconnect your Pokémon GO Plus + to your smart device.  Some of the reasons that the connection between your Pokémon GO Plus + and smart device may be disrupted are included below:

  • The battery has been drained.
  • Your smart device and Pokémon GO Plus + are too far apart.
  • Your Bluetooth connection is unstable.
  • There is an obstacle that interferes with your connection.

If my Pokémon GO Plus + device has already been paired with a smart device, can I pair it with a different smart device?

Yes, you may pair your Pokémon GO Plus + with a different smart device. First, please unpair your Pokémon GO Plus + from the original smart device, and then pair it with your new smart device.

Note that if your Pokémon GO Plus + is unpaired from your device, you won’t be able to retrieve any sleep data currently on it.

Can I sync a new Pokémon GO Plus + device with a smart device that had already been synced with another Pokémon GO Plus +?

Yes, you can sync a new Pokémon GO Plus + with a smart device that was previously synced with another Pokémon GO Plus +.
