Serial codes can be redeemed for in-game gifts by entering the serial code through the dedicated website.

Serial codes cannot be redeemed from within the Pokémon Sleep app. Please visit the code redemption page to enter your support ID and serial code. The gifts will be sent to your Gift Box in the game.
Where can I find serial codes?
Serial codes are distributed through certain events and campaigns. Customer Service does not individually provide details regarding how to obtain serial codes. You may follow Pokémon Sleep on X for the latest updates.
If you have an issue obtaining a serial code, please contact the business or organization that is distributing the serial codes.
What should I do if I can’t redeem my gift code?
If you received any of the following errors when attempting to redeem your serial code, please see the associated step to resolve the issue.

“Item could not be sent. Please try again later.”
- This appears when there is a temporary system error. Please wait a while and try entering the serial code again.

“This serial code has already been used.”
- Each serial code can only be used once. You cannot use a serial code that has already been used. If you do not remember using it yourself, it is possible that it has already been used with another Support ID.

“This serial code is not currently valid.”
- Serial codes have a start date and an expiration date. Codes cannot be used before they become valid or after they expire.

“Due to consecutive transmission errors, you will not be able to send data for a while. Please wait a day or so before trying again.”
- If there are multiple failed entry attempts, use of the website may be temporarily restricted. Please wait a while before trying to enter the serial code again.

“An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again.”
- This appears when there is a system error. Please wait a while and try entering the serial code again.

“The specified account cannot claim any more gifts. This serial code can only be redeemed X time(s) per account.”
- Some serial code campaigns have a limit on how many times each account can receive gifts. If the account already reached the maximum for the campaign, entering additional serial codes for the same campaign will not grant any gifts.

“The specified account cannot use serial codes yet. Please submit this serial code again after completing the first sleep tutorial and gaining access to the Gift Box.”
- Please complete the initial sleep tutorial and ensure that your Gift Box is accessible before entering the serial code.

“Due to ongoing maintenance, serial codes cannot be redeemed at this time. Please try again after maintenance has ended.”
- During maintenance for the Pokémon Sleep app, serial codes cannot be used. Please check maintenance information on the official website and try again after maintenance ends.

“At least one field was left blank.”
- Please enter both your Support ID and the serial code.

“The information you entered is incorrect.”
- Please make sure to enter your Support ID and serial code correctly. Do not include hyphens when entering the serial code.
Why haven’t I received my gift?
If you entered the serial code correctly, you will be able to claim your gift(s) from the in-game Gift Box. Confirm whether you have already claimed the gifts from the "History" tab in Gifts.
Please note that it may take some time for any gifts to be reflected in-game after successfully redeeming the serial code. If any gifts do not appear in-game immediately, please wait for a while and check again later.
If you are not able to redeem the serial code, please pay special attention to the following:
- Do not include hyphens when entering the serial code.
- The characters that can be used in the code are listed below. Please make sure you have entered the code correctly.
- Uppercase letters (A-Z) except I, O, Q, S, and Z, which are not used in serial codes
- Numbers 0-9.
Additionally, even if the serial code was entered correctly, you will not be able to claim gifts if any of the following conditions apply.
- Your save data has reached the maximum usage for that serial code.
- The total number of uses for that serial code has been reached.
- The code is either not yet valid, or it has already expired.
