After Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is updated, it may take up to approximately 24 hours for the app to be downloadable from the App Store or Google Play. Please wait until the updated version of the app is reflected in the store.
What troubleshooting steps can I follow if the app has frozen or crashed?
Please try the following steps to resolve the issue. If you aren’t able to play the game, please contact customer service.
Please make sure you do not accidentally delete save data.
- Please make sure you have stable network connection. If the network connection is not stable, try a different connection from the one you are having trouble with or try connecting at a later time.
- In addition to the space required to download the app itself, storage space is also needed for save files. If there is insufficient space, please free up some storage on your device and try restarting the app.
- If you have other apps open, try closing them before restarting the app.
- If you still cannot start up the app, please try restarting your device.
- After linking your game account to another platform, select the menu displayed at the top-right of the Pokémon TCG Pocket title screen, confirm the message, and clear the app’s cache.
- If you use Android, clear cache on your device.
- Go to your device’s Settings > Apps > Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket > Storage & cache > Clear cache.
- Note: The operating procedure may vary depending on the device. If you are not sure how to operate it, please consider contacting the device’s manufacturer.
