Who can I trade with?
You may only trade with friends. You cannot trade with anyone other than friends.
Why can’t I trade with my friend?
You may not be able to offer a trade to a friend for the following reasons.
- A trade is already active.
- The other player has disabled trading.
- The trading feature is not yet unlocked for that player (trading unlocks 14 days after starting the game).
Can I trade with multiple players at the same time?
It is not possible to trade with multiple players at the same time. If you would like to trade with another player while trading with someone else, you must complete or cancel your current trade first.
Can I change the card I placed in a trade?
While you are currently in a trade, you cannot change the card placed in the trade. If you wish to change the card, you must cancel the trade and start over.
Can the player I am trading with change during the trade?
The person you are trading with cannot change until the trade is complete. In certain cases, the player you are trading with may have changed their icon or player name.
How do I stop receiving trade offers?
You can adjust your settings to not receive any trade offers if you do not wish to receive them from other players. You will still be able to send your own trade offers.
Navigate to Menu (rightmost button at the bottom of the screen) > Other > Settings > Trade > Suspend Trade Offers.
Note that you cannot block trade offers from certain friends.
What happens if a trade is canceled?
If a trade is canceled, any consumed trade stamina will be restored along with your cards and items. If your trade stamina is full while trading, the amount you spent will be restored above the usual cap.
What will happen to my card’s flair if I have no copies of the card left after trading?
Flair for a card will not disappear if you do not have copies of the card anymore, but you will no longer be able to see the flair until you obtain another copy of the card.
How do I trade a card with flair or a card in another language?
Once you select a card that you wish to send in a trade, select the “Edit Card” button and choose the language and flair of the card you wish to trade with. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to Social Hub > Trade
- Tap “Trade” on the person you wish to trade with
- Tap the card you wish to send
- Tap “Edit Card” then set the language and/or flair
- Select the language and/or the flair then tap “Set”
- Tap OK.
Why don’t all my cards appear when I accept a trade offer?
Only cards that are eligible for that specific trade will be shown on the selection screen. For example:
- Both cards must be the same rarity.
- If a card has flair, both cards must have flair.
- If a card has a gold frame, both cards must have a gold frame.
How do I see my trade history?
You can view your 30 most recent trades from the last 90 days by navigating to Social Hub > Trade > History.
Where can I see which cards are currently available for trading?
Information is available in-game that provides more details regarding which cards are currently available for trading.
Social Hub > Trade > tap the question mark icon (?) > tap “Detailed trade list.”
What should I do if the trade button is grayed out and cannot be pressed?
When too many players are trading at the same time, trading may be temporarily suspended. Please wait and try again later.
If you are in the middle of a trade with a friend, the trade will resume once trading is made available again. If your trade expires while trading is suspended, the trade will not be completed. If a trade is not completed in this way, consumed trade stamina will be restored and any cards or items involved will be returned to their original state.
How much shinedust is needed for a trade?
The amount of shinedust that will be consumed in a trade differs according to the rarity of the card being traded. To check the amount in-game, navigate to Social Hub (the middle button at the bottom of the screen) > Trade > ? Button (the button at the top-right of the screen) > About trade rules.
The amount of shinedust that will be consumed in a trade will be displayed prior to completing the trade.
How do I add a card to my wishlist?
You can add a card to your wishlist by going to My Cards > Card Details and then tapping the Wishlist button at the top-right of the screen. You can add up to 20 cards to your wishlist.
Tips
- To see cards you don't already own, go to My Cards and then toggle the dex display button (to the left of the magnifying glass).
- From your profile, you can choose up to three wishlisted cards to be visible to other players on your profile, the Trade screen, and the Share screen. If you do not choose any cards to display, your three most recently wishlisted cards will be displayed automatically on the Trade and Share screens.
How do I remove cards from my wishlist?
There are two ways to remove a card from your wishlist.
- Navigate to the Card Details screen for the wishlisted card and tap the Wishlist button again.
- Navigate to Profile > Wishlist > Remove Cards to move to a screen where you can remove cards from your Wishlist.
How do I view which cards another player has wishlisted?
On the player’s profile, tap View Wishlist to view their full wishlist. You can also see up to three of a player’s wishlisted cards on their profile, the Trade screen, or the Share screen.
Why can’t I select the card my trade partner wishlisted?
Please verify that the card is eligible to trade by navigating to Social Hub (the middle button at the bottom of the screen) > Trade > ? Button (the button at the top-right of the screen) > Detailed trade list.
How do I exchange trade tokens before they are discontinued?
In order to exchange trade tokens for shinedust or pack hourglasses, navigate to Home Screen > Shop > Limited Time / Events > Other.
